Wire Belts

ASK Engineering Solutions are proud to work with some of the most internationally renowned wire mesh producers who have accumulated years of research and knowledge to provide you with the best products and services available on the market today.

Wire mesh is an incredibly versatile industrial product used for various applications ranging from architecture, design, bridges, stairs, partitions, lighting and much more. The wire mesh we provide can be used internally and externally and the variety available are favoured by professionals who need the mesh to be versatile and adapt to their often-bespoke design specifications.

We offer a wide range of wire belts for use in spiral towers, in high temperatures and for many other industrial purposes.

Our Range of Wire Belts

Our wire belts are available in a large range of sizes in multiconfiguration and can be produced with:

  • Stainless steal
  • Iron
  • Bronze
  • Brass
  • Copper

With a large range of finishes in terms of colour, tarnish, glazing and polish.

Wire Belts for Spiral Towers

The key components of spiral tower metal belts are that they must have multi-directional flexibility and suitable for straight and curved movement.

The wire must be suitable for extreme temperatures as they are used in the food industry for proofing, cooling and freezing.

We supply VICO-Flex and VICO-Traflex mesh both of which can be adapted to your specification.

Wire Belts for High Temperatures

These belts are specially designed to withstand extremely high temperatures ranging from 600°C to as high as 1500°C. They are made from a metal wire or a flat wire and are woven belts or perforated slat belts depending on the application.

These are used for:

  • Annealing and normalising
  • Brazing
  • Sintering
  • Hardening
  • Solution
  • Carbonitriding
  • And many other applications

We supply the  full VICO range including:

  • VICO-MB
  • VICO-MC
  • VICO-TU
  • VICO-AD
  • VICO-MP
  • VICO-TC

And much more.

Call us today at ASK Engineering to discuss your specifications and one of our knowledgeable and skilled engineers will surely find the best suited product for your requirements. VICO

Wire belts for other industrial processes

  • Baking – Baking on continuous wire belts in ovens of high temperatures. These wire belts are designed to resist the high temperatures while having hygiene and ease of cleanliness at the forefront. The surface of the belt is non-stick to prevent product loss and waste and are easy to clean without damage. The edging is finished to avoid snagging and catching when in motion thus preventing maintenance and repair needs.
  • Blasting & Sandblasting – Blasting takes place inside tunnels with the product sat on the metal conveyor belt. The belt must be resistant to the blasting process so the belts are made from resistant high tensile steel and manganese steel. These steels are very durable, rust resistant and perfect for the job.
  • Rayon Production – The conveyor belts are used for the rayon washing process. The belt must be of the correct style for suitable high level washing so as not to compromise the quality of the rayon and must also be made of a suitably smooth metal to prevent any rayon catching or sticking to the belt during this process. Because the process involves chemicals and water the surface of the belt is protected to prevent premature damage, rust or compromise of the metal quality. For this reason, most belts made for this application are of a high quality stainless steel.
  • And much more.
